Larissa Nenning

Hi, I am Larissa, a Researcher at Horizons. I am an experienced social policy researcher passionate about improving working conditions, economic democracy and increasing access to good care and free time for all. 

I have over 6 years of experience in qualitative social policy research on a number of employment and welfare issues, and have extensive experience of academic teaching as well as informal education work with young people and adults. I have recently completed my PhD at Edinburgh University on the politics of part-time work in Austria since the 1970s, which is also the country where I grew up. I am a published author on eco-social policy and unemployment benefits, and an avid reader of anything related to progressive policy, politics and economics.
