I’m Hannah and I’m a Senior Researcher at Horizons. I have over ten years’ experience in academic research, and two years’ experience working at an Anti-Slavery research institute.
My work has focused primarily on race, social protest and activist movements, marginalised groups, and community engagement. Working in these fields, I commonly use interviews and group research to ensure all voices and perspectives are heard and elevated. I have a PhD in Social and Cultural History from the University of Nottingham, and a postdoctoral research fellowship in Art and Social Protest from the University of Edinburgh.
