The challenge

To produce theories of change and logic models for six early years services in Southend-on-Sea.

The Result

We interviewed the leaders of the six services, identifying the key outcomes the projects seek to achieve and the activities through which they achieve this.

Based on these interviews, and reviews of the evidence around areas including breastfeeding and perinatal mental health, we then produced six theories of change and logic models representing visually the key project activities, impacts and outcomes.

This work has become an important metric for assessing impact of the six programmes in the coming months.
